DOM collections originated from the intuition of its founder, Domenico Mula, that in a very little time was able to stimulate also the inspiration of its designers and to make them working according to that “DOM Home Philosophy” which was the real base of its work. Doemnico Mula created the 2007-2008 Catalogues in cooperation with two big designers: Kaki Kroener from Paris, and the Italian Andrea Fogli. Kaki Kroener is a Parisian designer which has been able to apply to design the same creativity and insight that she normally applied to fashion. The result is a collection inspired to French spirit of “savoir vivre”. Kaki Kroener's creations are all played between essence and appearance, logic and aesthetic, class and elegance. Andrea Fogli, instead, “combines” different materials joining them into an harmonious style exercise. Elements such as the Love Seat Chaise longue, the Love Boat bed, the Augusto Sofa or the Lisa Armchairs, belong to this kind of style and show us also the contemporary “soul” of DOM edizioni.
